Smart Box
This true story happened in an office in some company. I don't know if it's a famous corporation or a small business. Perhaps, you say that story happened at your or a neighbor's office.
The room in which these events took place had several windows. It had many desks. There were computers, different papers, and other things on them. For example, the first desk had a lamp, the second one had a phone, and the next table had a coffee machine. Several filing cabinets were placed near the wall. Some shelfs had files with reports, invoices, contracts, and other important documents.
Previously, some of the documents were archived in boxes. A new paper cabinet was bought for the office two week ago. As a result, all the documents were moved to shelfs in the new cabinet. Some boxes were thrown away but one box moved to the top of the paper cabinet.
At first sight, it is usually a cardboard box. In fact, she is smart. The box likes to read contracts, instructions, and business letters. Once the man put an amazing book of a great scientist and science fiction writer into her. Smart Box read Foundation by Isaac Asimov.
In addition, Smart Box loves to help people. Several documents that were needed often were moved to the top of the stack of papers. Another part with less important ones was moved down.
In present time, she is empty. She is sad. She can't read. She doesn't help anyone. Smart Box is dreaming that the moment will come where she will fly to space, save humanity, and continue reading the great epic.

One of people doesn't like to go to the paper cabinet for some documents. He always grumbled that they fit into boxes more comfortably. He viewed his lovely box near the desk yesterday morning.
No one knows why it turned out to be near the table. Maybe she dropped down from the top at the risk of crushing her corners.
The man put all the important papers into this box. Each necessary document was near the top now. Our hero moved the required document to the top because of she read it. Smart Box always knows what the man needs.
Today the man put Foundation and Empire by Isaac Asimov into his box. He guessed that his helper loves to read. Smart Box will enjoy reading tonight.
