Party of ghosts (page 2)
Our ghost (I think that I can call him that) very quickly became the soul of the company. He spoke about his adventures, victories, trips, and other events. Who was the ghost in his life? Maybe he was an earl or a seeker of adventures, or someone else. He might even be a time traveler. We needed help understanding. However, it probably does not matter as he turned out to be a good person (or spirit) and storyteller.
Suddenly he asked, "Why did I not see red Burgundy wine on the table?"
"Unfortunately, we do not have red Burgundy wine at this party," answered Charles, "Because we bought other kinds of wine."
"It is a pity," the ghost exclaimed, "But I am thinking if you search carefully then you will find it. Please, find it for me."

Everybody went to search, but it resulted in nothing. Suddenly, one of the devils remembered that they had bought several bottles of red burgundy wine for a party a few years ago. "Perhaps we did not drink one of the bottles," said the devil. We continued to search. Finally, we found the precious drink.
Charles uncorked a jewelry bottle and poured wine into glasses. He freed space on the table and placed a wine glass mainly for the ghost.
We saw a beautiful show. The ghost lost human form; the fog swirled and started to change color; and swam to a glass of red Burgundy wine. The mist became condensed or rarefied, circled around the glass, passed through it, and changed color. We noticed that the glass was empty. The spirit had absorbed all its contents. He slowly rose to the ceiling, and then swept across the room in a whirlwind. The ghost flew so fast that it seemed he was in different parts of the hall at the same time. From the wind, the wizard's hat flew off, one of the fairies lost her fan, and all the candles went out.
Everything was quiet for a moment. The spirit was gone. Suddenly, in the pitch-black room, his voice sounded. He sang and began to glow again, shimmering in different colors. It was a little scary and mesmerizing at the same time. Pixie gripped my hand tightly. Fairies, devils, and all other guests froze in their places.
The ghost finished singing, but everyone remained in their spot. Then the spirit flew around the room again and somehow lit the candles. In the flickering candlelight, he flew up to one elf. "I will bind you two," whispered the spirit and passed through the elf, then through his girlfriend. Coming out of it, the ghost formed a ring around the couple.
After that, the spirit again bacame of a man and said "Let's dance." Someone turned on the music and the party continued.

The ghost slowly flew up to me. "A parting word," said the spirit, "I want to give you important advice. Never, do you hear? Never! Under no circumstances should red Burgundy wine be given to ghosts. Of course, you should not give them red Bordeaux wine, as well as white, pink, or red French, Italian, Spanish and other wines. But especially do not give red Burgundy wine. The spirits from red wine become violent and terrible." He was silent for a second and added, "But it can be given to me because I'm good and kind."
He waved his hand and went through the wall the same way he had come.

Charles and I went to the train station together and discussed the party and all the events that had taken place yesterday.
My friend remained on the platform, and I was already on the train when he said: "Thanks for the great holiday idea." I did not answer when the train started moving but thought it was Charles's idea.

I was so surprised when I received a new email.
"Good morning, my new friend,
Thank you and Charles for the wonderful party.
I so wanted to remember the taste of the good red Burgundy wine.
Sincerely,
The Ghost from the Loire Valley."
I realized who was the actual organizer of the party. I think that we will meet again.
